Still trying to draw a little whenever I can.
My wrist is starting to really hurt, don't know if it's from bad posture when drawing?
Will have to get it look at. Still wants to be able to draw when I'm 80.

I think I'm done with the painting.

Time to move on to another daily draw exercise, expect myself to explore some character work next, since we're doing character design now for the new project, I think it would be nice to do some caricature stuff as practice :)

Started to tighten up the painting.
I don't like how the color's turning out, will have to work on it more tomorrow.

it's hard to clean up a drawing....I always loose something in the painting, can't quite get my head around it just yet....

A little more work on the picture, and I kind of figured out it's going to be monkey-like status around the cave.
I wonder if I should just post the final after it's done. we'll see. I'll work on it a bit more tonight.

I find it very relaxing and fun to work at my own pace and try different things. No one breathing down my neck, no one judging my work, no pressure. Loving the fact I'm free to do anything, and it's okay to do bad drawing!

Some little studies, it was originally going to be a undersea cave with more fishy-lizard-like creature. Somehow turn into a more ancient civilization secret underground waterway with monkey-like status.

I'm excited how the picture will turn out :P I don't even know it myself! This is so much more fun then working on production work. I feel like I don't need to know how to draw to have fun drawing!

wow...it's so hard to paint from a blur image in my head.
This is after a hour and half of struggle. Obviously this is not done, I'll work on it more tomorrow, I guess I won't be able to turn up one painting a day for a LONG LONG time.

Just came back from adapt 2007 in Montreal. It was a great experience, an eye opener, a reality check, and a wake up call!

It's time to stop all the excuses, and make time for drawing, at least try one hour a day besides work.

This is the promise I make to myself, from now on, I rather turn up an ugly drawing than no drawing at all!

Note to self: every ugly drawing I make is only paving the road to an amazing art work!
